Preston lets you set how far it goes, not just how fast. The stroke adjusts anywhere from 0.8 to 5.9 inches, so you can keep it shallow and quick right where you're most sensitive, or open it up to nearly 6 inches and have it drive the full length, up to 3 times a second.
At that pace it needs to stay put, and 9.5 kg of steel on suction feet does exactly that. A 120W high torque motor puts 300 N behind every stroke, the bracket tilts to your angle, and it runs at 10 to 30 dB.

This design genuinely surprised me. At first I hadn't thought about buying a matching attachment and figured I'd have to order one separately. Luckily I found out the Vac-U-Lock cup works with the wand I already own, which is so convenient. It's exactly these small details that make me happy with it. You're not locked into a single model and you can try different combinations later on. I'll probably pick up another one with a suction cup to explore more options. Five stars from me.
I mostly use it at night and the noise level is completely acceptable. On the low settings you can barely hear it. On the high settings it's naturally a bit louder, but there's no annoying rattling or clicking at all. The motor runs smoothly and the vibration is steady. For the power it puts out, it's exactly right for me.
The box was very discreet, which matters a lot to me since I live with roommates. Assembly was quick, everything was done in a few minutes. I mostly use it on laminate and tile floors where the suction cup grips really well. It's naturally weaker on a bed, but on hard floors it works perfectly.
I hesitated at first but it's easier to get the hang of than I expected. Within a few minutes I had it figured out. The different settings are practical and it's easy to experiment and find what suits you best.
I had a simpler model before that wasn't easy to set up. The difference is immediately obvious. This one is more stable and the motor runs much quieter. That was the most important thing for me.

At first I assumed it was just a more powerful version. After trying a few different settings you quickly realize there's a lot more to it. The remote is very convenient because you're not constantly adjusting things by hand. Just let it run and enjoy.
I went back and forth about trying a machine because I worried it would feel too mechanical. After using it, a real person can't compete. It's not about getting tired, it's that it never goes soft, and the speed and depth are both adjustable. It gets me.
The tilting bracket lets you set the angle. I stuck it to the edge of a low table and lay on the floor underneath using the long stroke. Once the angle is dialed in, every stroke lands exactly on the spot inside that aches. My legs shook for a while afterward.
